Agave Restaurant welcomes local singer/songwriter Carolyn Cruso, acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and composer, equally at home on hammered dulcimer, flute, guitar and vocals. She performs a diverse array of original songs as well as traditional material. Carolyn will do a dinner set beginning at 7:30p.m. with Ben Sheppard on bouzouki. They will then be joined by Randy Jezierski for lively second set at 8:30. No cover charge, reservations are recommended by phoning 376-1422.

“Moonrise Kingdom” at SeaView Theater, 7:30 p.m. Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, Moonrise Kingdom tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore — and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle.  Starring: Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Jared Gilman, Kara Hayward.  Rated: PG-13.

Community Zip Line Day at YMCA Camp Orkila, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. YMCA Camp Orkila would like to invite you to come out and take a ride on their 1000-ft Zip Line!  If interested, you must call camp at 376-2678 to sign-up for a time assignment.  Please know the number of people in your party at the time of calling.  Maximum weight capacity for a single rider is 285 lbs (subject to change depending on conditions) and children must be entering 3rd grade or older to participate. Being prompt is important so please plan to arrive at camp 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.  Please enter through the main entrance on Mount Baker Road and follow signs to the designated parking areas. Explore the prairie landscape at American Camp at San Juan Island.
