PTSA Friday Night Rollerskating starts this Friday, Sept. 25.

“Yes, it’s that time of year again–the leaves are falling and it’s time to skate on Friday nights,” Barb Skotte, Parent-Teacher-Student-Association (PTSA) President says.

Skating starts at 6 p.m. (for beginning skaters or those 8 and under), and continues from 7-9 p.m. for skaters of all ages.  Besides free skating, there will be grade-by-grade races, limbo and lots of fun in motion.

Prices are the same as last year–$2 per hour, per skater (skate rental included).  Skotte puts out a call for volunteers to chaperone the fun at the “old gym” –“Without enough volunteers, we can’t skate.  Please help if you can (and volunteers’ kids skate free!)”

The Friday Night Skates are the PTSA’s largest fundraiser, and are held throughout the year.

Please call Skating Coordinator, Jennifer Pietsch (588-2446) or Barb Skotte (376-3930) if you can help, or if you have questions.  See you at the Old Gym!
