All are welcome aboard a one-hour cruise of Eastsound on Saturday, May 25 at 1:15 p.m. from the Eastsound county dock at the end of Haven Road. The cruise is in honor of Lolita/Tokitae and the Southern Resident Orcas.
The purpose is to raise awareness about Lolita and the plan to retire her in a sea pen in her home waters, and the dire situation of her remaining 75 SRKW family members who need more salmon to eat in the Salish Sea. The Puget Sound Express is visiting from Port Townsend.
Tickets also available departing Port Townsend to Orcas Island round trip.
