Today, Orcas Islander Lorraine Feather, songstress and filmmaker, announced that the animated short film that she made with George Griffin, “You’re Outa Here,” has now been accepted to three festivals: South by Southwest (Austin, TX), Aspen Shortsfest (Aspen, CO) and BE Film—The Underground Film Festival (New York, NY)
Feather writes, “We were just notified that the film will also be part of the 5th NYC Downtown Short Film Festival Audience Choice Screenings on March 19, 20, 21 at 8 p.m. At these screenings, the audience is given ballots and votes; those films that receive the highest votes will then be shown at their annual festival in April.”
