Scientific displays and games of chance filled the Orcas Island School cafeteria and Middle School Common areas last night at the PTSA’s second annual “Family Fun Math/Science Night.”

This celebration of math and science featured exhibitors  from the high school, middle school and elementary school, as well as guests from San Juan Nature Institute/KWIAHT, The Funhouse, Orcas Chess Club and others, along with information regarding the schools’ science curriculum.

Later in the month, the 8th annual Funhouse Science Fair is Saturday, March 28th. There’s no cost to enter, all ages are welcome, and everyone is a winner! Awards and science prizes are given to all participants.

There is $2,000 in Scholarship Prizes for high school students who opt-in to competition. “If you can’t think of a project, we’ve got ya’ covered!
