full band Friday, August 26 is your one and only chance to catch Mandy Troxel and the Bitter Ends on Orcas this summer! And what would an Orcas summer be without at least a little Bitter Ending? Join the band at their favorite Orcas venue, the Random Howse, for some Country kickbacks, island originals and surefire entertainment.

The Bitter Ends are Mandy Troxel, vocals and guitar, Anita Orne, bass, banjo and saw, John Polstra, pedal steel and Bruce Harvie, guitar, vocals and mandolin. Gordon Keonig will step in as an honorary Bitter Ender, playing bass for a song or two.

There is no cover for the show, but feeding the tips jars feeds the musicians. The Random Howse will be featuring its Thai menu. Reservations are recommended at 376-1111.
