Start off your summer theater season with our fully staged reading of Einstein: A Stage Portrait by Willard Simms.
Einstein will star local actor Tony Lee in the role of Einstein.
Einstein: A Stage Portrait is a one man play presenting the private, personal, and deeply human side of this great genius, the reluctant celebrity who changed forever the way we look at the universe, showing, through a string of humorous and insightful anecdotes, his metamorphosis from a bored high school dropout to the winner of the Nobel Prize. This is a view of Einstein that shows the largely unknown personal side of the most famous scientist of the last century.
Einstein: A Stage Portrait opens at the Grange on Friday, July 6 with additional performances on Saturday, July 7, Friday, July 13, Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15. All performances are at 7:30 pm.
Tickets are $10 and are available at Darvill’s Bookstore, on line at www.orcasactors.com or at the door. For additional information, contact the director, Doug Bechtel at 317-5601. This play is suitable for all ages.
