The San Juan County Council Chair and District 2 Representative will hold a meeting with the community to discuss the County budget and related fiscal challenges at the San Juan Island Library Meeting Room from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

San Juan County Council Chair and District 2 representative Justin Paulsen is hosting “Community Budget with County Council Chair Justin Paulsen” – an opportunity to hear the outline of how the County budget works, ask questions, and discuss solutions together.
- Topics planned for discussion include:
- Pressures related to the General Fund;
- Various revenue options; and
- Details and changes to the 2027 budget.
The upcoming gathering will take place on San Juan Island on Wednesday, September 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the San Juan Island Library Meeting Room located at 1010 Guard St in Friday Harbor. This will be the second of three events scheduled throughout the month of September on Orcas Island, San Juan Island, and Lopez Island, respectively.
