The Cancer Support Group is for anyone who has cancer, is a cancer survivor, or is a caretaker for someone with cancer. It is a monthly, no cost, confidential support group to give hope, encouragement, information, and inspiration to those experiencing the difficult journey of cancer.
The organizers of the group are Bogdan and Carol Kuminski from the Lighthouse Christian Center, who were facilitators for a group in San Diego, and Sue Foulk from the Orcas Island Community Church, who is a cancer survivor.
It is open to the community and meets the second Thursdy of each month. The next meeting is Thursday, October 14th, at 5 p.m. in the Fireside Room of the Community Church. For more information, please call 360-376-4198.
