Indy Zoeller and Hailey Thompson star in the Orcas Actors Theater production, When Bullfrogs Sing Opera, the next three weekends at the Grange.

The latest production from Actors Theater of Orcas Island, When Bullfrogs Sing Opera,  begins its three-weekend run at the Grange tonight at 7:30.

The well-seasoned cast in this sweet, humorous play includes Melinda Milligan, Patty Monaco, Ron Herman, Bev Leyman, John Mazzarella, Indy Zoeller, and Hailey Thompson, with Doug Bechtel directing.

It has been reported that the actors will be challenged not to join the audience in laughter as their characters  portray the dilemma of an ambitious socialite, Millicent,  whose hillbilly sister comes for a visit just when  Millicent has planned a party with the snobbish Kuppermans. Millicent decides to pass Coreen off as an actress who never leaves her latest role in a play.

The play is by Carl L. Williams. Performances are scheduled for  February 17–18, February 24–25, and March 2-4 at 7:30 p.m. at The Grange. Tickets are available for $10 from Darvills, at brownpapertickets.com, and at the door.
