Three teenage girls, one from Orcas and two island visitors, have been referred to Juvenile Court in the July 24 break-in of the Eastsound Liquor Store on Prune Alley.
According to Sheriff Bill Cumming, the girls used a rock to break the window and stole several bottles of liquor.
The County Prosecutor may charge the teenagers with burglary and theft, Cumming said.
Store operator Trina Olson said that the girls were captured on the store’s videocamera. They took “just what they could reach,” before departing the premises, said Olson.
