Open Forest
Curious about what a Forest School looks like? Orcas Island Forest School will hold an Open Forest Monday, May 1 from 3:30-5:30 at our Camp Orkila location. Come by with your whole family to play and explore in our outdoor classroom. Meet our two teachers, current parents, and prospective parents. Get a tour of our shelter, stump circle, fire ring, mud kitchen, and more.

Enrollment
Orcas Island Forest School is dedicated to providing a play-based, all-weather, outdoor early childhood education program that fosters an intimate connection to the natural world and supports children as they develop physically, socially, and emotionally.

Enrollment for Fall 2017 also opens May 1. Our school year runs from Sep, 6th through mid Jun., five mornings a week from 8:30-12:30. Children must turn 3 by Dec. 31, 2017 and be potty trained. You may enroll for 3, 4, or 5 mornings a week. Need-based scholarships are available.

Please visit our website for more information. Directions: Heading west on Enchanted Forest Rd. from Eastsound, turn right at Darvill Farm Rd. Follow the gravel road to the red barn and park to the right of the barn. Greeters will be there to meet you!
