UPDATE 5 p.m.:
Following necessary repairs to the Yakima, the San Juan Island routes return to regular service. The Yakima will sail the Anacortes 4:45 pm to Friday Harbor. The Elwha sails the Anacortes 5:10 pm to Lopez, and will be an estimated 45 minutes behind schedule. The Anacortes 7:20 pm to Shaw and Orcas will be an estimated 30 minutes behind schedule.
Due to the service disruptions, new reservations are unavailable for the remainder of the day. Current reservation holders will be prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis for all other scheduled and unscheduled departures. If unable to travel today due to cancellations, a no-show fee will not be charged. We apologize for the inconvenience.
UPDATE 8 a.m.:
The Yakima is out of service for the remainder of the day [Thursday, Sept.8] due to necessary vessel repairs. The westbound 6:25am departure from Anacortes and the 8:05am eastbound sailing from Friday Harbor have been cancelled.
Updates about future cancelled sailings, schedule changes, and unscheduled service on other in service vessels will occur shortly.

Thursday, Sept. 8 at 2:15 a.m.:
The M/V YAKIMA is out of service due to a mechanical problem. M/V ELWHA will become the Anacortes-San Juan Islands #2 vessel and depart Anacortes at 4:15 for Friday Harbor.
As a result of this, the 6:25 Anacortes to Friday Harbor, and the 8:05 Friday Harbor to Anacortes departures are cancelled. Updates will occur as repairs aboard M/V YAKIMA progress.
