The past few years have had major impacts on live theatre, in person performances, and human interaction in so many ways we will probably never be aware of the total effects, positive or negative, that will remain as a significant mark on our human timeline.
The spirit of PlayFest has been an open invitation to those new or returning to the theatre in every capacity. During the past several crazy years, the board of The Actors Theater has found itself needing to fill more and more roles that would, under normal circumstances, have been filled by newcomers and people rejoining the theatrical world.
For now, PlayFest will take a hiatus, however, we invite all of you who have enjoyed any part of the experience of PlayFest to raise their hand and be a part of what might be a new mission for live theatre experience on Orcas Island through the facilitation of The Actors Theater. Bring your ideas, concepts, paradigm shifts…whatever…
