Five dead, others ‘gravely injured’
in shooting at Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis
We have many words in our journalistic lexicon. None of them fit this instance as five Capital Gazette employees lay dead in their Annapolis, Maryland newspaper office, and an unknown number of others fight for their lives in area hospitals.
Meanwhile, the reporters at the Capital Gazette are still working to put out a newspaper tomorrow.
Thoughts? Prayers? Nausea.

Booker T. Washington said, “I shall allow no man to belittle my soul by making me hate him.”

Were there no journalists, we would not know what is really happening. Bless you one and all.
