Unitd Way Day of Caring Brings out sunshine and volunteers on Sept. 25
United Way of San Juans Day of Caring on Saturday, Sept. 25, was bright and sunny as volunteers washed windows at the Senior Center, cleared a shed at the Loving Care Assisted Living Home and worked on clearing stations on the Vitality Trail in Buck Park and on the Orcas Island School Grounds.
On Orcas Island, volunteers gathered at 10 a.m. where United Way Board President Dr. Carol Vincent Hall signed in the volunteers.
