From the SJ County – Friday Harbor Department of Emergency Management

At 12:41 p.m. today, Sept. 10, there was a 6.7 earthquake near Port Alice off the north coast of Vancouver Island about 175 miles west of Vancouver. The Tsunami Warning Center in Alaska has reviewed this earthquake and there are NO warnings or watches in effect. Link to Warning Center report: https://wcatwc.arh.noaa.gov/
