Unitarian Universalist service on Sept. 22 will be a “Covenant Group Sampler” led by Susan McBain. The service will start at 11:30 a.m. in Benson Hall at Emmanuel Church, 242 Main St. in Eastsound. You are invited to share on the topic, “What is the greatest spiritual blessing that getting older has given you?” Each participant will have a few minutes to describe an experience from his or her life in answer to this question.
Beginning Oct. 13 at 10 a.m., we are offering a series of six Covenant Group sessions before Sunday services. Each session will meet at a location near Emmanuel Church for an hour so participants can share on the day’s topic. Dates are Oct. 13 and 27, Nov. 10 and 24, and Dec. 8 (last session date TBD). Please indicate after the Sept. 22 service if you are interested in coming, or contact Susan McBain at 3497. Participation at all six sessions is preferred if possible.
OIUUF meets at 11:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, September through June. For more information, visit the OIUUF website. If you need help getting to the service, visit the “Contact Us” page on the website. Note: childcare is NOT available this Sunday. We have a wonderful space and creative material for kids, but we need to plan ahead for supervision. Please contact Susan McBain if you would like to bring children to our services.
