The entire community is invited to join Orcas Montessori School and the Salmonberry School at the 20th annual Candlelight Spiral Walk.
This year, the walk will take place on Saturday, December 11 at 3 p.m. at the Oddfellows Hall.
Teresa Chocano, Director of Orcas Montessori says, “Come walk the evergreen spiral, light a candle and transform the darkened room into a tableau of light. This is an opportunity for children and adults of all ages to experience a quiet reverence for the beginning of the holiday season.
“A suggested donation of $5 per family or a gift of nonperishable food for the Orcas Island Food Bank would be warmly appreciated.”
