Prepare for an unforgettable evening of swing, style, and sensational musicianship as Pearl Django, one of the country’s most celebrated gypsy jazz ensembles, takes the stage at Orcas Center on Thursday, June 6 at 7pm, presented by the Orcas Island Jazz Festival.

Blending the timeless sound of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli with American swing and contemporary influences, Pearl Django has been captivating audiences since 1994. With their intricate arrangements, spirited improvisation, and seamless ensemble work, the band continues to honor the roots of gypsy jazz while carving out a sound uniquely their own.

Originally formed in Tacoma, Pearl Django has built a strong following worldwide. They’ve performed at major festivals, jazz clubs, and concert halls throughout the U.S. and abroad, and their recordings have been featured on radio stations around the globe. Known for their energetic live shows and musical finesse, the band appeals to jazz aficionados and casual listeners alike.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.OrcasCenter.org, over the phone at 360-376-2281 x100, or in-person Tuesday – Friday 11am-2pm, and an hour prior to showtime. Ticket prices range from $23-$68 with a $2 per ticket fee. There are six $10 tickets available for this performance subsidized by our generous donors – These are available on a first-come/first serve basis by contacting the Box Office.
