Friday, July 12, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Orcas Library
— from Michael Armenia —
Shakespearean and humble island servant, Michael Armenia, will present Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’.
The purpose of this class is to make Shakespeare (and specifically the play, ‘Hamlet’) more comfortable to women who may need encouragement to audition later in the year for our all-female production of ‘Hamlet’ which will be produced in July 2020.
This class is open to 20 female registrants with priority given to the women who pre-register. Otherwise, first come, first served. If there are seats open at the time of the class, we will welcome walk-ins.
- 10 a.m. -12 p.m.: Presentation, discussion, Q&A
- 12 – 1 p.m.: Break for lunch (which will be provided!)
- 1 – 5 p.m.: Reading the play together
Preregister by sending an email to info@orcasislandshakespeare.org indicating that you wish to attend. Include full name and contact info.
*Men should not fret! This class will be repeated in the fall and/or spring 2020 for both men and women.
