Ruth de Vicenzo, christened by the media as “the vinyl voice” of Tango, returns to Orcas August 24 for an enchanting evening, featuring flights of South American inspired food prepared by Roses’ chef, live music, and dancing to create an unforgettable taste of Buenos Aires Nights.

Dancers, from Sara Thomsen’s group Tango En Vie, will delight with improvised and choreographed performances. Sara is an Orcas native now living in Buenos Aires.

Bring your dance shoes, for Milonga moments for social dancing throughout the night.

A trio of guitarists Phil Gustavson, Carl Germain, and Michaud Savage will accompany Ruth on this Seattle, Orcas, and Vancouver tour.

A price of $70 includes food, music, and dance. Tax, tip, and beverage are additional. Call Roses at 376-5805 to reserve your seat with a credit card. Event starts at 7 p.m. till late.
