What could be better than enjoying a good story while sipping fine spirits and nibbling delicious nosh? A unique fundraiser for Farm to Cafeteria will provide it all on Thursday, June 25th, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Inn at Ship Bay.
You’ll hear TALES of Orcas Island’s apple industry’s boom and bust and today’s efforts to restore them. You’ll also experience TASTES of boutique apple and pear brandies created from the very fruits of our own ancient trees by Orcas Island Distillery and hear how it’s done; all while enjoying magnificent TIDBITS of food by the incomparable Geddes Martin created especially to compliment the above.
