On Friday, October 25, 2013 at about 8 a.m. deputies responded to a report of a suspicious piece of luggage in a gravel parking lot in the 4400 block of Pear Point Road on San Juan Island.
The Washington State Patrol EOD team responded and examined the item by X-Ray. The luggage was then opened and determined to be safe.
No further investigation is required.
