It is my great pleasure to announce that Lorena Stankevich will be officially joining OISD’s leadership team as Orcas Elementary School Principal! Our very own Lorena Stankevich will transition from Interim Orcas Elementary Principal to Orcas Elementary School Principal effective July 1, 2017.
Lorena has a track record of academic excellence and leadership as a teacher in this district. She moved seamlessly into the interim principal position successfully strengthening instructional leadership while vastly improving school climate.
I personally couldn’t be more pleased, and I look forward to seeing what she and her talented staff will accomplish in the years to come.
2017 is looking good for Orcas Schools.
