Saturday, July 23, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Emmanuel Episcopal Church Grounds
— from Judith Schliebus —
It’s time for St. Agnes Guild’s 67th Annual Market Day, which will be held next Saturday, July 23, on the Episcopal Church lawn from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Market Day is our major fund-raising project, with proceeds going to our Orcas Island community. It benefits local organizations such as the Food Bank, Kaleidoscope, Children’s House, Domestic Violence Agency, Hearts and Hands, Mercy Flights and the Senior Center.
This year’s Market Day will again feature homemade pies and other delicious baked goods and a beautiful Silver Tea in the Parish Hall. Juicy hot dogs and refreshing sodas will be available outdoors at the hot dog stand. It is a great opportunity to look for bargains from St. Agnes’ attic on the tables of tools, jewelry, games, puzzles, CDs, books, household goods and other “treasures” for all ages on the lawn.
Don’t miss this event that’s an annual Orcas tradition! See you there!

Are they still accepting donations?
Yes, Monday thru Friday next week from 10-12 AM in Benson Hall (on the west side of the church, up the ramp on the right of the sanctuary). Please, no clothes, no electronics. All items should be clean and gently used. If you have a very large item, like furniture, bring it the day of the sale, Sat. July 24, at 7 AM to the labyrinth area where all furniture will be displayed. Thank you for your interest in our Market Day Sale, where proceeds stay in our island community.
