The Orcas Island Kings tackle football team is holding a raffle for an official NFL Jersey signed by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith.
Orcas Island resident Tommy Brasher, who is the Defensive Line coach for the Chiefs, has also donated a signed NFL cap, the NFL has recorded a special about Tommy that will be airing sometime this year so stay tuned.
We will be selling tickets outside of Island Market on August 20, 21, 28 and September 3 and 4 with the drawing on September 4 at 3 p.m. All proceeds go to the Kings football program to pay for the league fees, equipment purchase, scholarships, and transportation costs.
Please come out and support our local youth football team who, in three – four years, will be our Vikings players.
