Whale of a Show– Thursday Aug. 19th 3-5 at the Sr Center (Lundeen Room).
The Whale of a Show is a great opportunity for kids to get on stage and perform their own unique act in front of a supportive audience. Performances can include song, dance, musical instruments, spoken word, or something of a unique nature that you choose! It is always a fun and entertaining show for all.
Orcas Rec will provide a CD player and piano, please bring all other props or musical instruments that you need. Note: If you miss tryouts this week but still want to participate call the Orcas Rec office and we will work something out. We hope to see everyone at the Show on September 11th (7 p.m.) at the Orcas Center!
You Can Make It! Arts and Crafts Class with Cheryl Jackson
When: Monday August 23rd (1:00-4:00) Where: public school cafeteria. Ages: 6-12 Cost: $23 Work at your own pace and choose from crafts like: making Silly Putty, paper crafts such as Chinese lanterns and window butterflies, beading necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, and more!
