17-006511 Accident-NonInj 14:28:54 09/13/17
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a traffic collision. The investigation showed that two vehicles backed up and collided with each other in the roadway. A state accident report was taken and was attached to the report. The drivers exchanged information.
17-006513 Civil Problem 15:04:18 09/13/17
A Deputy was dispatched to a theft call on Orcas. After both parties were contacted it was found that the call was a civil matter. A report was taken.
17-006516 Traffic Violation 16:46:08 09/13/17
A Deputy spoke with a Lopez Island school bus driver after the driver reported that a motorist illegally passed her on Fisherman Bay Road while her flashing red lights and stop paddle were activated. She was off loading a juvenile passenger at the time. An investigation is being conducted.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a trespassing complaint in the Eastsound area. The suspect was gone upon the deputies arrival. A report was taken.

A Lopez deputy took a report of an unattended vehicle in the ferry line. An infraction was issued.

Unknown person/s gain access to a San Juan Island residence bank account and was able to take funds from the account. Investigation continues.
17-006531 Forgery 12:20:19 09/14/17
A citizen reported a check was forged and passed at a local business.
17-006536 Theft 15:15:47 09/14/17
A Friday Harbor student reported his bike stolen from Friday Harbor high school. He had parked it at the school for a few days and when he returned it was gone. He has no suspects at this time. Deputies are watching for the bike.
17-006537 Domestic Dispute or Assault 15:24:56 09/14/17
Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Orcas Island. The disturbance was discovered to be verbal only in nature. The parties were separated without further incident. A report was taken for documentation purposes.

A Deputy was contacted at the Orcas station to post bail.
17-006553 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 10:52:42 09/15/17
Sheriff deputies were called to the FHES by the school principal because an
unauthorized parent of a child had attempted to pick up the child. The
unauthorized parent was gone on arrival.
17-006561 Agency Assistance 16:16:40 09/15/17
Deputies were sent to a Friday Harbor address for a hang up 911 call. An arguing couple was found and interviewed. One of the parties agreed to leave the house for the evening to allow things to calm down. Both parties were advised to call for a deputy’s assistance if there was any other issues tonight.

A Deputy made contact with a male subject that was screaming obscenities in Friday Harbor. The male subject was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.
17-006581 Domestic Dispute or Assault 10:37:19 09/16/17
Friday Harbor deputies responded to a call of angry screaming neighbors. It was found to be roommates arguing over moving. Deputes made sure there was no physical violence or property damage. One party left the residence for a while to calm down and the deputies cleared.

An Orcas Island Deputy was contacted regarding a theft that had occurred in the Eastsound area. The scene was processed and a report taken. The investigation is ongoing.
17-006596 Harassment 18:39:52 09/16/17
A Lopez Island man reported being harassed and threatened by other Lopez Island residents. An information report was taken.
17-006601 Unsecure Premise 19:54:47 09/16/17
A caretaker reported finding a Lopez Island vacation rental unlocked with lights on while it was supposed to be unoccupied. The home was cleared by the deputy, who found no indication of a burglary or theft. The home was secured and a report was taken.
17-006604 Boating Acc NI 21:26:08 09/16/17
A boat accident occurred in the Roche Harbor area. The Deputy received two accident reports regarding the incident, which were attached to this report It was reported that a vessel collided into an anchored vessel.

Deputies responded to the Friday Harbor Suites for a person passed out on the couch in the lobby. The person was contacted and removed and directed to the right hotel. He was also issued a ‘no trespass’ warning for the Suites.

Deputies were dispatched to an ongoing property line dispute. One of the parties was violating the injunction by dumping trash and cutting trees in a disputed area. The violator was asked to stop and refused. Photos and videos were taken of the incident and a report filed with the courts.

An Orcas Island Deputy was contacted about a motor vehicle accident that had occurred on 09/15/2017. A report was taken.
17-006638 Accident-Injury, Traffic 19:47:13 09/17/17
A deputy was dispatched to a single Vehicle Traffic Accident in the San Juan Island area. The reporting deputy arrived and contacted the driver. The vehicle had drifted off the roadway and no one was injured. Collision report was completed.

A Deputy arrested a subject on an active warrant of arrest. Arrest occurred in the Town of Friday Harbor, San Juan Island. Subject posted bail and was released on his promise to appear in San Juan County District Court as directed.

Orcas Island Deputies found some property along a roadway in Eastsound. The property was booked into the property room for safe keeping until the owner is found.
17-006665 Traffic Stop 22:48:42 09/18/17
A Deputy in Friday Harbor conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and was booked into the jail.
17-006666 Disorderly Conduct 23:22:25 09/18/17
An Orcas Deputy responded to a report of a Disorderly Conduct on Main St in Eastsound. The male left the location prior to the Deputy arriving. The Deputy searched the immediate area where the suspect was reported to have gone but was unable to locate the suspect. Information was gathered and a report was taken.

A Deputy responded to a non-injury two vehicle collision within the town limits of Friday Harbor. One driver was issued a notice of infraction for Failing to Yield. I completed a Police Traffic Collision Report.

A Deputy arrested a subject on three active warrants of arrest. The arrest occurred in the Town of Friday Harbor, WA. Subject was booked into jail.

A deputy was dispatched to a Suspicious Circumstance in the Friday harbor area. The reporting party was contacted. An informational report was taken.
