Between 10/16/16 and 10/17/16 an unknown subject removed a pair of sunglasses from a ferry workers vehicle. The vehicle was parked in front of the ferry terminal and was unlocked. No suspect or witnesses to the incident.

The staff from the San Juan Island Library contacted us to have an unruly subject trespassed from their property. The subject was contacted and trespassed from library.
16-007943 Theft 13:19:23 10/19/16
A Deputy spoke with a Lopez Island resident regarding a theft complaint. The reporting person stated someone removed her keys from her unlocked parked car after she parked it in the Lopez Village. The keys were subsequently returned to her by an unidentified person. A report was completed.
16-007948 Traffic Violation 18:08:03 10/19/16
A Lopez Deputy received a traffic complaint. The reporting person stated a vehicle aggressively tail gated his vehicle on Mud Bay Road while he was teaching his teenage son to drive. The suspect driver was identified and he wrote an apology letter to the reporting person. A report was completed.

Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check of an Eastsound residence. The person appeared to be fine and not in any danger of herself or others. An information report was taken.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Sunday Drive for a domestic assault. A male subject was ultimately arrested and booked for domestic assault.

A Deputy was dispatched to a possible order violation in Friday Harbor. It was found there was not enough evidence to arrest the respondent for a violation and a report was taken.

A Lopez Island deputy was sent to investigate an incomplete 911 call. After contacting all residents on the property, there was no problem discovered. No one admitted calling 911. No further action was taken.
