A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to a report of a large cow out in the roadway, causing a traffic hazard on a south end road. The cow was gone when the Deputy arrived.
19-003935 Court Order Violation 10:08:21 05/29/19
A Deputy in Friday Harbor was dispatched to an order violation. It was found the order had not been served, the Deputy served the order to the respondent.
19-003948 Wanted Person 16:29:47 05/29/19
A Deputy arrested a male in Friday Harbor on an active warrant. The male was booked into jail awaiting a court hearing. report made.

San Juan Deputies spoke with a complainant regarding an order violation. The investigation is ongoing.
19-003955 Accident-Injury, Traffic 18:28:19 05/29/19
San Juan Deputies responded to a single vehicle collision off of West Valley Rd. The driver was transported to the hospital and was given a citation for reckless driving.

A Deputy investigated vandalism that occurred during school hours at the Lopez Island School. A person of interest was identified and a report was completed.
19-003995 Domestic Dispute or Assault 19:18:42 05/30/19
Deputies responded to an Eastsound apartment complex on a reported domestic disturbance. Further investigation revealed no crime had occurred, but the male subject had violated conditions of his Department of Corrections release. An informational report was completed.
19-003997 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 19:26:08 05/30/19
Deputies responded to an Eastsound business on a reported reckless driving. A moped was said to have driven in circles in a parking lot, nearly impacting pedestrians in the area. The case is under further investigation.
19-004002 Juvenile Problem 21:25:41 05/30/19
A Deputy responded to a Juvenile Problem in Eastsound. A juvenile had reportedly violated a court ordered curfew. The juvenile eventually returned home and a report was documented. Juvenile Services was made aware of the incident. A report was written.

A Deputy responded to a Lopez Island residence after a resident suspected boaters had come on to her private beach late at night. The Deputy determined the boaters had violated no laws and a report was completed.

A Lopez man was issued a warning for trespassing while operating a moped on a private road.

An Orcas Deputy responded to an accident with no injuries near Eastsound. The at-fault driver was issued an infraction for no having proof of insurance. A report was taken.

San Juan Deputies responded to a mental person that had locked themselves in their residence. Deputies were able to talk the person out of the house and they were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

A Deputy on Orcas Island took possession of two bicycles that had been abandoned on private property.

A Lopez Island Deputy took a report of a non-injury boating collision that occurred at James Island on June 1st. The collision damaged the reporting party’s vessel while it was tied up at a dock.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a report of an unwanted person riding through the property of Orcas Christian School. The person was contacted and arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

A Deputy arrested a wanted person in Friday Harbor on an active felony warrant. The male was booked into jail awaiting a court hearing. Report made.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called to a local business regarding a backpack that had been left by a customer. The customer arrived to claim the backpack moments after the Deputy arrived.
19-004144 Vehicle Prowl 17:15:03 06/03/19
A Deputy was dispatched to a vehicle prowl that occurred in Friday Harbor. Investigation Continues.
19-004151 Vehicle Theft 22:52:57 06/03/19
A Deputy took a report of a vehicle theft. The vehicle was later located. Later on two other vehicle thefts were reported. All vehicle thefts are believed to be connected with the same known suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

A Deputy took a report of a vehicle theft in Eastsound. The vehicle was later located. Two other vehicle thefts were reported and are believed to be connected. All three vehicles have been recovered and a suspect has been arrested. It is also believed that a vehicle prowl case is related.

A Lopez Island Deputy received a report of a pig running loose in the road creating a traffic hazard. The pig was gone when the Deputy arrived in the area.
