20-001958 Domestic Dispute or Assault 09:41:25 03/18/20
A Deputy was dispatched to a Domestic in the San Juan Island area. The reporting Deputy arrived and contacted all the persons involved. The incident was verbal only and no crime was committed. Parties
separated and report taken.

20-001959 Assault – Aggravated 09:48:48 03/18/20
Orcas Deputies were dispatched to an assault that had occurred the night before in the Eastsound area. After an investigation was completed one of the parties was arrested for Assault 4-DV (Domestic Violence).

20-001965 Citizen Assist 12:12:23 03/18/20
A Deputy was contacted at the Sheriff Office in reference a Citizen Assist in the San Juan area. The contact person provided information on a person at risk. Report taken.

20-001967 Accident-Injury, Traffic 12:34:42 03/18/20
A Deputy was dispatched to a Single Vehicle Accident in the San Juan Island area. The reporting Deputy located a single vehicle involved in the incident. Accident was caused by an equipment failure. Report taken.

A Deputy received a call of reported vandalism near Eastsound.

20-001984 Animal at Large 13:38:34 03/19/20
A Deputy on Orcas Island was dispatched to a dog at large call. The owner of the dog was located and the dog was returned home. An information report was filed.

20-001991 Unconscious ALS 17:29:08 03/19/20
A Deputy responded to a Lopez Island residence on 03/19/2020 for a report of an unconscious person that might be deceased. Lopez Island Fire and EMS responded as well. It was confirmed that the person was indeed deceased. The County Coroner also responded and the cause of death is under investigation.

An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a possible DUI near the ferry landing. The vehicle was not located and the possible license plate did not come back to the vehicle described.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a suspicious call near the dump. A report was taken

San Juan Deputies were advised of a citizen assist request. After a lengthy conversation regarding a four year old incident, no crime was reported.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Communication Call in the Friday Harbor area. The caller was contacted via the phone. She advised she was having problems with an ex-boyfriend. The caller was provided advice and a report was taken.

A Deputy was dispatched to an Animal Problem in the San Juan Island area. The caller reported that while walking her dog, another dog attempted to attack it. The Deputy was unable to locate the dog or dog owner when searching the area. Report taken.

A Deputy responded to a citizen assist. On contact it was unknown what the subject wanted to report as they screamed incoherently at the Deputies.

A Deputy on Orcas Island was dispatched to a burglary of a building in Eastsound. A report was filed and the burglary is currently under investigation.

20-002037 Attempted Suicide 19:13:16 03/21/20
Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched to a possible suicidal subject. The individual was transported to Friday Harbor to seek treatment. A report was taken.

20-002038 Theft 21:23:26 03/21/20
An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a theft call near Eastsound. The owner had the serial number to the saw and it has been entered into a database. No suspects at this time.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Dog at Large call in the San Juan Island area. The person reports two dogs chasing her pets. Warning letter issued and report taken.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Trespassing in the San Juan Island area. The people involved were contacted. Report taken.

20-002046 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 10:33:48 03/22/20
A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Suspicious Circumstance. The person had information about a possible medical problem. Report taken.

20-002050 Animal at Large 14:02:11 03/22/20
A Lopez resident found a dog roaming the area near her home. The owner was contacted they picked up their dog.

20-002051 Trespassing 14:13:19 03/22/20
Deputies on San Juan responded to a report of trespassing. Two subjects were contacted. Their vehicle was impounded pending a narcotics investigation.

20-002054 Trespassing 16:30:59 03/22/20
Deputies on Orcas Island responded to a trespassing complaint. The suspect was trespassed and arrested on an outstanding warrant. The suspect was also charged with additional drug related charges.

A Lopez Deputy investigated the natural death of a resident.

A Deputy received property from an Orcas Island resident that belongs to another resident. The property was booked into evidence for safekeeping.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to Found Property. Items were recovered and entered into evidence. Report taken.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called regarding a suspicious vehicle seen at a residence. It was a worker there at the request of a family member.

A Deputy on Orcas Island received a report of a missing person. An investigation was conducted and the missing person was last seen in the Oregon State. An information report was completed.

A Lopez Island Deputy discovered a tree down, blocking a portion of Shark Reef Rd. Public Works responded to clear the hazard.
