19-000579 Communications Problem 10:42:17 01/23/19
An Orcas Deputy responded to a callback near Deer Harbor. After speaking with the reporting party they decided to take care of it themselves.

19-000588 Accident-HitRun 16:21:57 01/23/19
A Deputy responded to a delayed report of a hit & run in Friday Harbor. The caller had no suspect information, no witnesses, no video evidence, and requested a report for insurance purposes only. Report made. No further investigation.

19-000589 Theft 16:43:06 01/23/19
Deputies were dispatched to a possible theft in Friday Harbor. After further investigation it was found the matter was civil. An informational report was taken.

19-000594 Court Order Violation 18:00:09 01/23/19
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to an order violation. A report was taken.

19-000601 Traffic Stop 07:57:24 01/24/19 **
A Lopez Island Deputy stopped a vehicle on Fisherman Bay Road. The driver was subsequently issued an infraction for driving 55 MPH in a 25 MPH zone.

19-000602 Traffic Stop 07:57:43 01/24/19
A Deputy on San Juan stopped a driver for a warrant. The driver was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant and DWLS 3rd Degree. The driver was also issued an infraction for no insurance.

19-000605 Citizen Dispute 10:53:23 01/24/19
Lopez Island Deputies were dispatched to a citizen dispute in progress. Upon arrival statements were collected and the case is ongoing.

19-000608 Welfare Check 18:06:02 01/24/19
Deputies responded to a welfare check in Friday Harbor. There was warrant out for one of the parents, was taken in custody and later bailed out.

19-000616 Mental Health 04:03:43 01/25/19
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to the ferry terminal to check on a person suspected of suffering mental illness. EMS also responded after the person claimed to be having a heart attack. It was confirmed the person was not in medical danger. No additional action was required. A report was completed.

19-000617 Traffic Stop 06:43:56 01/25/19 **
An Orcas Island Deputy stopped a vehicle on Orcas Road. The driver was subsequently issued an infraction for driving 71 MPH in a 40 MPH zone and warned for no proof of insurance and a defective brake light.

19-000622 Burglary, NonRes 10:52:26 01/25/19
An Orcas Deputy responded to a nonresidential burglary near Eastsound. After an investigation was completed, the suspects were identified and the case was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

19-000624 Theft 11:02:49 01/25/19
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a theft call. A report was taken. The investigation is ongoing.

19-000626 Welfare Check 11:46:23 01/25/19
An Orcas Deputy responded to a welfare check in Olga. The subject of concern was found to be fine.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Domestic in the Friday Harbor area. The caller was contacted. Report taken.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a domestic dispute. A report was taken.

19-000654 Boating Problem 12:53:01 01/26/19
Deputies on marine patrol were dispatched to a report of a fisherman shooting at a seal with a pellet rifle near Sucia Island. The seal was located with severe injuries, and was safely captured and transported to Friday Harbor, where it was transferred to Wolf Hollow. Investigation continues.

19-000661 Threats 18:06:53 01/26/19
A Deputy investigated an online harassment complaint. A Lopez Island resident posted a statement on Facebook that was believed to be a possible threat to harm another resident. Although the posting was inappropriate, there was no crime and a report was completed.

19-000667 Alarm 20:39:59 01/26/19
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a commercial alarm in the Lopez Village. The alarm appeared to have activated due to a mechanical glitch. A report was completed.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called about a llama running at large. The area was checked, but the llama was not found by the Deputy.

19-000698 Traffic Stop 00:02:35 01/28/19
San Juan Deputies stopped a vehicle for erratic driving. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was booked into jail for DUI.

19-000699 Medical BLS 07:24:30 01/28/19
A Deputy responded to assist Orcas EMS with what was reported as a potentially aggravated patient. Upon arrival, the Deputy made contact with the subject who was calm and received the necessary medical evaluation.

19-000704 Lost Property 10:25:32 01/28/19
A Lopez Island Deputy took a report of a canoe and kayak that had been floated off a waterfront property in the recent high tides.

19-000705 Citizen Assist 11:06:48 01/28/19
A Lopez Island Deputy was requested to do a civil stand by as former housemates finish removing personal property from the shared residence.

19-000714 Civil Problem 15:23:53 01/28/19
A Deputy responded to a report of a stolen sign. There is no evidence to suggest who had taken the sign. A report was completed.

A Deputy responded to a report of a minor accident without injury in Friday Harbor. Neither party involved was injured, both parties had valid insurance, and a state collision report was made. No further investigation.

A Deputy responded to a walk in citizen assist call in Friday Harbor. it was determined that no crime was committed and an informational report was made at the request of the reporting party. No further investigation.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called for advice about removal of an abandoned vehicle from private property. Information was provided to the requesting party.

19-000744 Trespassing 12:56:23 01/29/19
A Lopez Island resident reported an ongoing issue of trespassing at a residence. A trespass warning letter was issued to the offender.

19-000747 Unwanted Person 14:41:14 01/29/19
A local Eastsound business owner requested persons trespassed from her business. The persons will be located and issued No Trespass Warning letters.

19-000750 Domestic Dispute or Assault 17:09:26 01/29/19
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the Eastsound area. A male subject was subsequently arrested on a warrant. A report was taken.
