19-000967 Vehicle Theft 10:15:43 02/06/19
A Deputy met with a Lopez Island resident regarding a vehicle theft complaint. The stolen vehicle was subsequently located after another resident found it on Lopez Island. There will be an investigation to try to identify the person(s) responsible for stealing the vehicle.
19-000971 Accident-Injury, Traffic 14:39:37 02/06/19
Deputies responded to a roll-over collision in the 1000 block of Dolphin Bay Road on Orcas Island. Upon arrival, they encountered a single vehicle that had rolled down an embankment. The driver and infant occupant were treated and released on the scene. The driver was arrested for DUI.

Deputies on San Juan responded to a report of a domestic incident. No crime was committed and the incident was documented.

A Lopez Deputy performed a welfare check on a local person after it was reported the person might be in crisis.
19-001013 Overdose 19:36:27 02/07/19
An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a possible overdose near Eastsound. After the person was evaluated by EMS they were cleared OK. A report was taken.

Deputies on San Juan Island arrested a subject for an outstanding felony warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to a citizen assist in Friday Harbor. The reporting party was found to have conditions which they violated and report was sent up to the Probation Office.

San Juan Deputies were dispatched to a two-car non-injury collision. The scene was investigated and a collision report was generated.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a disturbance between two dog owners.
19-001036 Alcohol Offense 18:21:30 02/08/19
A Deputy was dispatched to a Probation Violation in the Friday Harbor area. The person was contacted and found to be in violation of probation. Report taken.

Deputies on San Juan responded to a multiple person dispute in the road. The parties were dispersed when Deputies arrived. The incident was documented.

Orcas Island Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the Eastsound area. No crime had been committed. The parties were separated for the night.

19-001089 Traffic Hazard 10:24:32 02/11/19
A Lopez Island Deputy came upon a vehicle that had just slid off Ferry Rd into the ditch after losing traction on the packed snow. No one was injured, and the vehicle was not damaged. A tow truck was required to extricate the vehicle from the ditch. No enforcement action was taken.
19-001091 Traffic Hazard 11:47:04 02/11/19
A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to check on a vehicle that slid off Hummel Lake Rd into the ditch after losing traction on the packed snow surface. No one was injured, and the vehicle was not apparently damaged. It will remain until conditions improve to allow it to be safely extricated.
19-001092 Traffic Hazard 11:50:51 02/11/19
A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to check on a vehicle that slid off of Center Rd after losing traction on the packed snow surface. A passerby had helped pull the vehicle out before the Deputy arrived. No one was injured, damage was minimal and the driver was able to continue on his way.

Deputies responded to a nuisance dog complaint. The complainant had caught the neighbor’s dog chasing and biting his chickens.
19-001098 Traffic Stop 13:31:15 02/11/19
A Friday Harbor Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration. The driver was arrested for an active parole violation warrant and DWLS 3rd. The male was booked in jail and also issued infractions for no insurance and expired registration over 2 months. Report made.

Deputies responded to a vehicle blocking the roadway with the driver apparently asleep behind the wheel. The vehicle left the area prior to getting there.

Deputies on Orcas Island responded to a complaint of a two dogs that had attacked another dog.
19-001117 Abandoned Vehicle 10:22:50 02/12/19
A Deputy was dispatched to a Littering call. One person was issued an infraction for Failure to Redeem an Abandoned Vehicle.
