With 15 ballots remaining to be counted, the Orcas Island School District Proposition teeters on the cusp of either passing or failing. If all 15 of those votes are for ‘Approval,’ then the levy will have the required 60 percent needed to pass.

The next ballot count is scheduled for February 23, 2017, at 5 p.m. at the Elections Office in Friday Harbor.
