The Orcas Island School District Board will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. today in the School Library.
The Board will discuss the amount and scope of the bond to be voted upon in August, and it will interview candidates for the Orcas Island School Board vacancy created by Keith Whitaker’s resignation.
Three candidates have filed: Bob Connell, Marian O’Brien and Jim Sullivan. The board candidate selected will serve out Whitaker’s term, until January, 2012.
