Mask challenge! Send me great pictures of your masks to rickh@sanjuanco.com and I’ll post on Instagram, twitter and FB. I’ll pick top five and we’ll do a group vote.

Reasons why I think you should wear a mask:

  • Come on, we can walk into a store and look cool without someone thinking we’re up to no good
  • Because it keeps sneezing and coughing that I might do from harming anyone else.
  • Less face touching
  • Because I love walking with fogged glasses
  • It’s just cool
  • Helps me remember or understand a little bit of the struggles our first responders, medics and front line workers have to do everyday
  • Allows a non creative person like myself be a bit creative
  • CDC recommends
  • San Juan County recommends
  • It is the right thing to do for our community

Thank you all for wearing masks, but please don’t be mean or shame others. We will all get through this together, but we need to be a family and support our neighbors. #Islandstrong
