Progress Update: Along with roadway paving, concrete work is essentially complete. Next week work will continue on the remaining pedestrian ramps and intersection pavers. The contractor is also beginning to prepare landscaping areas for additional street trees.
Big Picture: A road opening before Labor Day weekend is becoming a possibility! Stay tuned for more information!
Traffic Update: The North Beach Road intersection has been opened as a 3-way intersection and is expected to remain open for the remainder of the project. While areas of Prune Alley will continue to open to pedestrians as we near completion, it will remain necessary to keep some areas closed to vehicles to safely expedite onsite work.
Please help keep our residents and visitors safe and injury free by adhering to and protecting all approved traffic control devices.

Hurrah on opening the North Beach Rd. Prune Alley intersection!
That will take a lot of pressure off clogged Main Street..
The brickwork at the intersection of Prune Alley/North Beach/School Roads looks really good. The contrasting concrete crosswalks are an especially impressive touch. This is a main going-to-school intersection and these crosswalks will help define the places to cross for both pedestrians and motorists.
The sad part is, now Prune Alley makes North Beach Road look kind of shabby. Maybe we could schedule to redo it next summer!
I was thinking the same thing Buddy.
