— from the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce —

The Orcas Island (WA) Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present its Third Annual “Eastsound Art Walk” on Friday, November 27 from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Lance Evans, Executive Director of the Chamber noted, “Orcas Island is home to a wide array of innovative and creative artists, each with their own unique point of view. The Eastsound Art Walk is a wonderful way to share the work of many of the island’s artists in one afternoon. There’s a reason Eastsound was named one of America’s Top Twelve Small-Town ArtPlaces in 2013!”

Over 20 shops, stores and galleries – all featuring the work of local artists – are taking part and encouraging visitors and islanders alike to come explore the creative work on display.

In addition, the Random Howse performance venue on A Street in Eastsound will be home to five Orcas Island artists, each one exhibiting their art work.

Starting Monday, November 23, maps of participating art locations will be available at the Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center, participating shops & galleries, as well as available online via the Chamber’s website (www.orcasislandchamber.com).
