dye
The Orcas Island Farm to Cafeteria Program is hosting its first workshop for the summer this Saturday! We will be dyeing with natural indigo in ancient Japanese style. Fee is $5-10 sliding scale. Please bring things to dye (100% cotton, hemp, or silk work best). And let us know you’re coming or ask questions by emailing Colleen: cstewart167@gmail.com. We will meet in the school garden on Saturday just after the 4th of July Parade rolls through town around 12:30/1:00 p.m. The process will take up to an hour and then you will be able to pick up your pieces in two days! All ages welcome. See you in the school garden!
