Do you have any pets?
There are two dogs that live with us named Bandit and Luna; they’re fluffy and full of energy.
Any favorite hobbies or interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family. I enjoy hiking, biking, and swimming. I also love cooking, gardening, reading, and hanging out with my kids.
What kind of music do you like?
I basically like all music. I love going to concerts, watching people perform is the best.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
The ones I remember most were to be a doctor, veterinarian, fire fighter, artist, professional surfer, or a rock and roll singer. Ha ha!
What lessons has your work life taught you?
What I’ve noticed most is that no matter where you work or what you do, your own attitude and perspective will always determine how your experience will be.
If you could do anything now, what would you do? Why?
Travel! This world is so large and beautiful, I want to experience as much of it as I can.
Do you have any favorite stories from your work life?
My favorite memories are the ones were my coworkers and I are sharing laughter, telling jokes, and being silly.
Did you ever see yourself living on an island?
No, I never considered it until I came to Orcas. I had lived my whole life in Oregon until I moved here with my family in Summer 2018.
