Get ready for the 20th Annual Orcas Center Golf Classic – held this Saturday, September 6, at Orcas Island Golf Course. Get a team together and make the course your stage!
This fun-filled fundraising event offers both islanders and visitors alike a full day of golf and friendly competition, and is brought to you by Orcas Center, Lower Tavern, Islanders Bank, Orcas Island Golf Course, and Island Market. All net proceeds go towards Orcas Center programming.
This is the final year that Orcas Center will produce the Golf Classic. After 20 wonderful years, the role of producing the Golf Classic is being passed from Orcas Center to the great team at Orcas Island Golf Course.
This year’s Classic is a continuation of the original tournament scramble format. Enjoy 18 holes of golf, a brown bag lunch on the turn, and Lower Tavern burgers at the awards ceremony.
The day’s schedule is as follows:
9:30 am Registration
10:00 am Tee-Off
12:30 pm Lunch on the turn
2:00 pm Lower Tavern burgers and awards ceremony
Participation in the tournament costs $75 and includes golf, all meals, and the awards reception. If you are a student player and would like to join a team we would love to have you on board!
