For the 12th year in a row Orcas Rec held the Steve Braun Memorial Triathlon over Labor Day weekend. We had an incredible race this year with lots of fun, and strong competition!
Orcas Rec would like to thank the racers for participating, and the volunteers and staff for working so hard to produce such a successful event. We appreciate the participation and support from all of the racers and their families. The race fees go towards Orcas Rec and Friends of Moran.
We were extremely fortunate for all of the volunteers who helped keep the participants, safe, hydrated, pointed in the right direction, motivated, and timed! A huge THANK YOU goes out to all of those Volunteers, EMTs, Orcas Rec Staff, and Moran State Park Staff who helped make this such a smooth and unique event! We appreciate all that you do before, during and after the big day!
