Please join the Orcas Island Lions Club for the first monthly Sunrise Volunteer Meeting at the Island Skillet Friday morning September 18.
The meeting will start with free coffee at 7 a.m. and a no-host breakfast. After a few introductory comments about The Sunrise Volunteer Group, enjoy our featured speaker Lance Evans of the Orcas Chamber of Commerce on the topic of “The 2015 Summer Economy.”
The Meeting will end at 7:40 a.m. time certain. The Sunrise Volunteers Meeting will re-occur on the third Friday of the month from September through June.
Who is invited? Anyone who might be willing to offer assistance to our neighbors and/or to the Orcas Island Lions Club in a non-monetary fashion and those interested in networking with a group of volunteers.
