Dear Orcas Island Health Care District Board Members,
In this time of the COVID-19 epidemic it behooves you to employ Dr. Vincent Shu, M.D. to help combat the spread of COVID-19 on Orcas Island. I am amazed that the board has yet to take the opportunity to employ Dr. Shu for the Medical Center.
Dr. Shu, as you all probably know, is a heart specialist with equipment in his house right now to test people who have apparent heart attack symptoms thereby eliminating unnecessary airlifts to hospitals in many cases. There are probably five or six symptoms that mimic a heart attack when it is a completely different problem.
With this CONVID-19 virus escalating on the Island it behooves you to make the intelligent decision to utilize Dr. Shu’s medical expertise and talents for the people of Orcas Island.
Dr. Shu is a cardiologist and also a talented acupuncturist and blends both Eastern and Western medicine. He is a very compassionate and understanding physician. He is an asset to Orcas Island, to the Orcas Island Community, and he should be duly respected and honored for his service to our community.
Please employ him at your earliest convenience, we need him.
