We used to be able to direct message our candidates at the time of election and that was sufficient. Now the world turns faster and we need candidates who can keep up with a steadier pace of challenging issues..

We are fortunate to have four such candidates running for the Orcas Port Commission.

Each of them is familiar with community and the central role the port plays in our economy, medical needs, and the delivering of merchandise. 

Each of these candidates is a quick study, having had challenging career and unique life experiences. 

All four have been following and studying the specific port issues so that they understand the choices that need attending.

This election is critically important for Orcas, please vote for Pierrette Guimond, Poke Haffner, Bea vonTobel and Mia Kartiganer.
