Art for Orcas Kids, a program under OIEF, would like to thank the Orcas Island Community Foundation and our wonderful Orcas Island community for contributing generously to our request for funding through the OICF grants process.

Thanks to you, we met our goal, which will pay for about 1/3 of our program for the next school year. If you attended the recent art exhibition at the Orcas Center, you have witnessed the excellence of this program that brings local artists into the classroom at the public elementary and middle schools.

Once again we can all hopefully look forward to another school year filled with rich artistic opportunities for your children. Thanks so much.
