Join us in supporting the completion of the School project. This long, careful and excellent work has been undertaken with the support of the Orcas community. But it is not yet complete.
Please refer to the excellent historical narrative the School Board and administration has prepared to demonstrate the steps taken to arrive where we are today and those steps that remain to be completed.
We are most impressed by the community input, the professional consulting and evaluation of the needs of our district that all came together in this document. We are enthusiastic supporters of public education as the foundation of a healthy democracy. It is our responsibility to provide the environment that fosters the best public education possible. The whole community, island wide and beyond, benefits.
