— from Scott Lancaster —
With much consideration and fretting, I have decided it best for family and health to not seek reelection.
It has been a wonderful and rewarding experience serving the children and taxpayers of our community for the last 12 years. I especially want to thank my wife, Therese, for the sacrifices of time she has made also. Through all our efforts I can honestly say I left the District in better condition than I found it.
I look forward to the new board going even further to better our kids’ futures.

Many thanks Scott. As everyone who has served the community knows full well, that service can be rewarding, frustrating, challenging, and under-appreciated, all at the same time. In a community as small as our own, it is important that we each participate in any way that we are able.
AND, it is important to know when it is time to pass the baton to the next generation. Again, I say thank you and commend you for your service to the community, the school, and most importantly, to those young leaders of the future that have benefited from your contribution.
In his comment above, Ed’s nailed it…thanks again Scott.
