Saturday, August  15, 11-12 Noon, Emmanuel Parish Hall Inside Labyrinth

— from Emmanuel Episcopal Parish —

Regardless of your faith or tradition, the labyrinth can be an effective tool to process events and experiences in your lives. It can be used for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation. A labyrinth is thought to enhance right brain activity – the creative, problem-solving, intuitive side of the brain.

This presentation, “Introduction to the Labyrinth,” on Saturday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, at Emmanuel Parish Hall, will cover a brief history, various uses, different types of labyrinths and guidelines for walking. An opportunity will be provided to walk the labyrinth and share experiences.

This introduction will be facilitated by Lisa Steckley and Nancy Ayer.
